Toruman is an independent song writer/musician/lifeguard, born and raised in Japan. He writes most of his music in his lifeguard tower while watching over people on the beaches of Atami. Some of his songs are played through the speakers on the beach, where a record company executive heard his music and the rest is history.

His musical inspirations come from his experiences traveling around the world and his love of the mellow surf lifestyle.
