Bison are North America's largest land animals.
A bison can stand up to 6.5 feet tall and up to 2000 lbs!
The term Bison and Buffalo can be used interchangeably. In North America the scientific term is Bison. Historians believe the term "Buffalo" grew from the French term "beef" or "boeuf".
You can tell a Bison's mood by its tail position! A relaxed Bison has a tail hanging down, a tense Bison will have its tail up so be careful!
Bison are big but are also fast and nimble! They can jump high and are also efficient swimmers!
They can live up to 20 years old sometimes longer!

How To Measure

Take an outerwear jacket that fits you well and lay it flat on a table as it is done here. Find a tape measure and note the following measurements:

A (BODY LENGTH) - measure from highest point of shoulder (hps) to bottom hem
B (CHEST) - go two inches below armpit and then measure across
C (SLEEVE LENGTH) - measure from centre back collar to sleeve cuff edge
