Greatest sweater in the Galaxy

The year 2010 marks the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the Star Wars saga.
We felt that the greatest movie in the galaxy deserved to be paired with the greatest sweater in the galaxy.

Themed after the famous "Battle of Endor," in the movie Return of the Jedi, this sweater features the following: AT-ST Scout walker, howling Ewok and the Death Star.

"My ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you; here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, yes. Even between the land and the ship." -Yoda.

This is another example of our custom design capabilities.

Sitka and Granted

We are proud to release a collaboration project with a local Canadian surf brand, Sitka . The unisex sweaters include the "howling wolf" design in different colourways.

These sweaters can be purchased online here or at your nearest finest Sitka retailer.

Sitka:

The name Sitka derives from the mighty Sitka Spruce, a tree naturally drawn to the rugged shorelines of Western Canada; our family grew from the same endeavor.

The seed was sown in the Fall of 2002 when two Canadian surfers, Andrew Paine and Rene Gauthier, with their shared passion and vision for making surfboards, decided to take their hobby out of the garage and offer a fresh possibility to the local surfing population.

While surfing always has and will continue to be the heart of our brand, Sitka’s nexus has expanded to encompass all of the elements that inspirit the lifestyle of our family – surf, skate, music, art, culture and travel

Granted designs Don Cherry sweater for WORN Fashion journal

Granted was requested by WORN Fashion Journal to contribute to their Don Cherry fashion article "Cherry picking". Don Cherry is an opinionated, controversial, and best of all, sartorially splendid Canadian icon. WORN Fashion Journal invited six artists and designers from across the country to reinterpret his image, garnering results that may rival Don's wardrobe in their diversity.

Inspiration behind this sweater was the iconic chunky knit sweater of the Canadian West Coast. The dog pattern was modeled after Mr.Cherry's late dog Blue that was featured in many early "Rock em' sock em" videos. The overall colourway was taken from the days of his coaching years with the Boston Bruins. His nickname "Grapes" is placed on the back like a hockey jersey.

WORN Fashion journal discusses the cultures, subcultures, histories, and personal stories of fashion. We strive to embody a place between pop culture magazine and academic journal that opens new avenues in art and fashion theory by hovering where these two ideas intersect, connecting with fashion scholars and artists.

You can find an issue of WORN Fashion journal here or take a look at their blog .
