Granted has collaborated with Japanese private label brand called Warehouse.
Warehouse is famous for their collaboration with the Lee jeans brand and their contemporary American work wear style. Warehouse is currently sold in their private stores all over Japan ( 8 locations in total).
Our collaboration incorporates their vintage taste while still keeping with the Granted look. The shop staff at Warehouse have put their own styling with these great looking hand-knit sweaters. Here’s their stylish website and blog.
Official David Suzuki Sweater Auction

Going once, going twice…
Many of you have asked about this sweater. Now it is finally available to the public at the Official David Suzuki On-line Auction.
This limited edition David Suzuki sweater, up for auction now, is one of only 12 personally autographed by Mr. Suzuki himself. Proceeds of these sweaters will be going to support the David Suzuki Foundation.

Catch Grant rockin’ the CBC Sweater at folk festivals across Canada this summer. Grant, veteran Canadian radio personality and lead singer for the Indie band The Smugglers, has been officially given props for being able to control his body temperature!

David Suzuki Autographed Limited Sweater!!

The award-winning scientist, environmentalist and broadcaster, Dr. David Suzuki, was so impressed by the detailed intarsia-knit portrait we created for him, that we are working with the David Suzuki Foundation by donating a Suzuki sweater. This signed sweater will be auctioned off at Vantage. All proceeds go to the foundation. Please stay tuned for the auction date.

It’s playoff season!! At Granted, we’re so stoked that we designed a one-off. For all you die hard hockey fans its time to support your favorite team!! From the good ol’ days of of the black, yellow and orange, the slogan ” I believe” has stuck with our team. It’s time to honk your horns, wave your towels and take your cheering to another level!!
Remember the days of Bure, Babych and Linden in the finals? This time were going all the way!!!!!

CBC Sweater on display at the Harbourfront Exhibit in TO

The folks at Motherbrand have put on an exhibit called the Material Culture for the Information Age from March 13th to April 26th. We are proud to be featured here in the same exhibit with famous artists such as Douglas Coupland!
In a world were you can speak to anyone, what do you want to say?
Emblems and icons, of colours, patterns, smells and more, are the building blocks, the raw components of a community and compose our cultural identity. We have collectively created and assembled this library of identity, and it is something we implicitly agree to share. Over time, it is this library that becomes the history, meaning and expression of our cultural experience.
In this information age, everything is competing for our attention. In this global age, identity is blurring and brands - in place of locations - are gaining in currency. To keep our material culture from disappearing, it must be exercised and never allowed to become narrow or stagnant. As creatives, the more we use our shared identity in our work, the more flexible and robust our culture becomes and our symbols become inspirational fountains.

We designed another one-off, Canadian Heritage-style sweater, this time paying tribute to the one and only great Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Our sweater received many compliments by wild beer-swiggin’, hot-dog-eating Canadian fans on the best night of the week - Hockey Night In Canada, baby! Yeaaahhh…
